Line Watch
Your HTS lines checked against every new Federal Register document on Section 301, Section 232 and the tariff schedule, with a dated change report — including the weeks when nothing happened.
Not on sale yet. Indicative, for pilot conversations only: $3,000 a year for up to 100 lines; $9,000 a year for an adviser’s book of up to 1,000 lines across clients. No money is taken until the gaps below are closed.
Most periods are quiet. From January 2025 to September 2026, a typical 25-line list was named in a Federal Register document in 5 of 21 months. The value is in not missing the one that matters: the Section 232 proposal to add 14 derivative article categories took comments for 21 days, closing 27 August 2026.
What exists, and what does not yet
- Every Federal Register document on Section 301, Section 232 or the tariff schedule, read in full and matched against your lines — built and tested
- A dated change report every run, with a quiet period stated as a result — built and tested
- Comment windows open on the report date, with their closing dates — built and tested
- What the watch cannot see, printed on every report — built and tested
- Not built yet: Section 232 inclusion requests that name your line, with the days left to object. The requests are posted to regulations.gov, which needs an API key this project does not have yet (PLACEHOLDERS.md §1).
- Not built yet: Country-wide measures that reach your origins without naming a code. Needs origin-level rules extracted from the schedule notes. Not started.
- Not built yet: Four consecutive weekly runs on a real client watchlist, with nothing missed that a free alert caught first. So far the watch has run only against an archived corpus. A subscription that misses a window is worse than none.
What it explicitly does not do
- It does not file anything on your behalf, and it is not a substitute for counsel or a customs broker
- It does not forecast whether a process will open or what an agency will decide
Why this exists. Law-firm client alerts are free and tell everyone the same thing. This tells you that a document named your line, which line, and when its window closes. That is only worth paying for if it never misses one — which is why it is not on sale until it has shown that it does not.
Not on sale — get in touch
Nothing is for sale here. If you want to be a pilot, or to be told when it is ready, say so — no money changes hands and nothing is promised beyond what is listed as built.
